Prawat Nagvajara, Thailand so athlete at the 2006 Winter Olympics, will complete in the men’s 15 kilometer cross-country skiing event in Turin, Italy.
Prawat, an associate professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia, is looking forward to doing better than his 68th-place finish in the previous Games in Salt Lake City.

The 4-year-old is still the only Thai to have ever completed in the Winter Olympics. Prawat may not have a chance at a medal,but he has a personal goal.
“Ussualy, when I am getting ready to start the race, the winter is already known. This is positive pressure for me. I will try my hardest,” he told The Triangle,Drexel University’s student newspaper. “I like to finish in 50 minutes. That will depend on the conditions. If it’s really slushy, it might take me over an hour. The great skiers will finish in 30 minutes.”
